Hard water contains dissolved calcium and magnesium. It is not identified accurately by one white spot or a salesperson's demonstration; it is measured. Results can vary by source, blending, season, and property equipment, so use a current test at the home when sizing treatment.
Hardness treatment, scale control, sediment filtration, carbon filtration, and drinking-water systems solve different problems. The right plan starts with the concern you want to change and evidence that the selected equipment addresses it.
What hard water does inside a home
